What does ADOM mean?

Modified on Sat, Apr 29, 2023 at 11:14 PM

Well, let me tell you! ADOM stands for Active Days on Market. This is the actual number of days a property has been actively listed within the MLS system without reaching an end of cycle status. The calculation is based on the number of days between two date values entered for a listing and is recomputed on a nightly basis as long as the listing status is considered active.

Here's a breakdown of how ADOM is calculated based on the listing status:

  • - Act: Today minus the listing date
  • - Pend/Pend Cont: Contract date minus the listing date
  • - Exp: Expiration date minus the listing date
  • - With: Withdrawn date minus the listing date
  • - Temp: Temporarily off-market date minus the listing date
  • - Sold: Sold date minus the listing date

We hope this helps clear up any confusion you may have had about ADOM.
