What does CDOM mean?

Modified on Sat, Apr 29, 2023 at 11:25 PM

CDOM, or Comprehensive Days on Market, is a metric used in the real estate industry to represent the total number of days a property has been actively for sale on the MLS system without being sold. It is important to note that CDOM does not include days where a listing is Off-Market, such as when it is pending or expired. Additionally, CDOM starts over from zero for any new listing added for the property once it has been sold or has been Off-Market for a specified number of days. It is worth mentioning that CDOM accumulates days across listings even if the property changes from one listing agent to another. For on-market (Active) listings, CDOM is updated on a nightly basis by a scheduled process. It is essential to keep in mind that the CDOM field is not editable in MLS.
